Interesting how things change through the years.
When Josiah was an only child and only a couple months old, Heather was excited that he slept through the night for the first time. In fact she was so excited that she woke me up, really early in the morning, to let me know this. I was, as you can imagine, not nearly excited at this point as she was. In fact the whole event was rather annoying to me. She woke me up with great energy, thus startling me out of a deep sleep, to learn news that meant I didn't have to be awake.
Well this morning, as I opened my eyes, my wife smiled and told me that Kessia had slept through the night last night. Yes indeed from 11:30ish to 6am our five week old daughter slept, therefore so did Heather. And heather waited till after 7:00am to tell me!

Our crazy life
Some people don't like it when everyone is talking at once. They might be overwhelmed at our mealtime discussions.
We've been learning over the years how to sort the sounds and answer multiple children in short order. This morning was no different. Wow what a lively time!
We had a rock paper scissors game going and suggestions for alternate signs while breakfast was discussed and more of this or that amidst questions of the upcoming activities of the day. That's one sentence because if you had been here it would have overlapped in your hearing anyway.
Truth is, we're pretty happy. it's not the polite patient society our Cultured Victorians might like, but I laughed, and played along.
Josiah beat me 7 out of 13 at Rock, Paper, Scissors.
